Re:NK, which is an anti-aging brand of Coway,
received the best prize with Re:NK Velvet CC Cushion at the
8th Korea Star Awards that was held at the Kintex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do on the 10th.
Re:NK Velvet CC Cushion is a liquid base
foundation made in a pact form that offers great convenience and sanitation,
and with such features, the product received the highest honor. In particular,
the container, which is designed to dispense an adequate amount for each use,
satisfies the consumers’ needs for sanitary cosmetics.
Yang Jung-sun, the chief of the Cosmetic
Marketing Department of Coway, said, “Our effort to develop products according
to the needs of consumers in the aspect of product’s function and packaging has
been finally recognized,” and added, “In the coming years, we plan to develop
differentiated products that create new value for our customers.”
The Korea Star Awards has been
held annually since 2007. It is Korea’s first packaging-related award that has
been hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy and sponsored by
the Packaging Technology Center of the Korea Institute of Industrial
Technology. This year, some 31 cases have been selected as new technology for
packaging in the Industries category.
