cosmetic brand, operates a social contribution program called Re:NK Re:starter
Beauty College to assist full-time housewives in gaining employment, and it
recruits the first-term participants.
The Re:NK Re:starter Beauty College is a social contribution program that
offers education and assists with employment for full-time housewives who have left
work due to their child births and rearing by improving their professional skills
and by helping them acquire certifications for their economic independence and
successful advancement into a society. This program assists by covering all of
the education fees for the participants so that they obtain an education and
acquire a national certification as skin care specialists and makeup artists at
professional educational agencies. It also provides employment consulting
jointly with the Jongno Women Resources Development Center to help women get a
job after acquiring certification.
The first term of the Re:NK Re:starter Beauty College, which operates this
year, plans to select a total of 40 participants. Applications for
participation will be accepted by the 14th the following month the
homepage (www.Re-NK.co.kr). Applications
will also be accepted in-person at shops or via postal mail. The final
participants will be announced on the 25th the following month at
the homepage and through individual notification. The education will be offered
starting in March for four months.
In addition, Re:NK holds Re:NK Re:starter Beauty College Lecture for full-time
housewives who have applied to participate, giving them employment know-how and
encouragement to a new start. This lecture will be offered at the New Millennium
Hall of the University of Konkuk. Part One of the lecture will hold a talk show
titled The Story of Second Life that will be anchored by former MBC newscaster
Park Narim. Part Two will offer a lecture by actress Goh Hyun-jeong who is
working as an ad model for Re:NK, as well as a lecture titled Female Leadership
by celebrity speaker Kim Mi-kyung.
Yang Jeong-seon, the director of the Marketing Division said, “This program was
planned to accommodate the opinions of full-time housewives who express
difficulties in going back to the workforce due to their lack of experience in
occupational training programs,” and added “We will do our best to provide a
start to a happy life for the participants as Re:NK is a brand that promises
confidence for women who are in charge of their own lives.”
