The Cosmetic Research Center is…

contributing to the creation of beauty by developing
the world’s best products through continuous R&D.

Subsequent to the launching of Re:NK, a hit brand
since September 2010, the center launched Allvit,
a traditional herbal cosmetic in August 2011.

With research results obtained over the past 10 years,
the center will produce the best products for the customers.

History
Since the research center’s establishment in 2003:
  1. Dec. 2011 : cquired NET certification from the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy
  2. Nov. 2011 : Signed an MOU with the Cheongyang-gun office
  3. Oct. 2011 : Received an Eco-cert certification for the factories and cosmetic products in China
  4. Aug. 2011 : Launched Allvit, a traditional herbal cosmetic brand
  5. May. 2011 : Earned the KFDA certification for the non-notified substance Retinostar 2A
  6. Feb. 2011 : arned the KFDA certification for the non-notified whitening substance Enerwhite
  7. Sep. 2010 : Launched Re:NK, a cell bio cosmetic line
  8. Aug. 2010 : Signed an agreement with Otaka for the joint development of fermented cosmetic products
  9. Apr. 2010 : Developed technology that promotes percutaneous absorption; and applied a patent in Korea/China/the US
  10. Mar. 2009 : Launched the high-end brand Cellat in China; and signed an agreement on a cluster project with Seoul City (Secondary)
  11. Aug. 2008 : Established the Coway Cosmetic Research Center
  12. Aug. 2006 : Signed a technological cooperation agreement with China Coway Cosmetic
  13. May 2006 : Signed an agreement on a cluster project with Seoul City (Primary)
  14. Dec. 2005 : Certified as a venture company by the Small and Medium Business Administration
  15. Jul. 2005 : Selected as a national project operated by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy
  16. Jun. 2004 : Acquired a permit for the establishment of a research center for the Bay Tree Cosmetic Company
  17. Dec. 2003 : Launched a cosmetic brand for the first time in China (Ttero)
  18. May 2003 : Established the Bay Tree Cosmetic Company
